Country Knoll Preschool is owned and run by Susan Benham.

ABOUT ME: I have three sons. Isaac 22, Austin 21, and Andrew 19.  I have been a single mom since 1995.

Isaac 22 years old attends the Georgetown Law School.

Austin 21 is a sophomore at Diablo Valley College in California, transferring to Western Summer of 08. He received a football scholarship. He is majoring in Education he would like to coach high school sports. :>)

Andrew 19, is a sophomore at UW Bothell. He is a Jr. Certified Scuba Diver and is interested in Robotic Engineering.

I have a BA degree in Liberal Arts majoring in Alternative Education, have an ECE degree and I am Montessori Certified.

I have worked with children for twenty-two years. I have coached boy’s baseball, basketball, and soccer for 13 years. I owned and operated Lake Marcel Montessori School in Carnation and Country Knoll School. I worked for the Lake Washington School District, at Emily Dickinson. At Emily Dickinson I taught Autistic children, special needs children, ESL, preschool and was a classroom substitute. I left Emily Dickinson to open my program.

I received a $9,000 grant from Bill Gates to start Country Knoll Preschool.
